WWTPs have shifted from being a "black-box" to a system of well understood processes. Investigation and research revealed more and more of the chemical and biological processes going on in WWTPs and accurate mathematical models have been developed.
H2Office uses dynamic simulations in order
- to revise and supplement conventional plant design,
- to evaluating different design concepts and operating modes and
- to optimize highly dynamic processes like aeration systems or biogas production due to co-digestion.
We are able to calculate the consumption and production of energy over time regarding different operation modes and control strategies by combining aerobic and anaerobic biological models with machinery specific data for pumps, aeration systems, CHP units, etc.
Hence connecting the energy consumption with specific costs for energy and investment we can supply our customers with sound data, helping them to find the right decision for their investment.
